Gaspar, Malchior, and Balthasar () present gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the Infant King, Jesus Christ, at the Epiphany. The Kings gather with their crowd of courtiers, outside the stable, where the Virgin Mary sits with the Infant Jesus. Fields with grazing sheep, mountains, and birds in a blue sky, make up the picturesque background.
